Before I jump into talking about the one and only Agawam’s Java Stop, I want you guys to become more involved in my blog. You may be asking, “How can I become more involved in my community and find small businesses that are personable and welcoming?” I want to include you in my next post by sharing and supporting these small businesses by bringing nothing but positivity. Another easy way to get involved is simply just visiting the shops that I mention which is why I started this blog. I have much joy talking about this topic because not only do I enjoy coffee, but I also enjoy taking pictures, spreading positivity, and calling all coffee lovers to New England! If you don’t like coffee that’s okay; this is an open-minded community. If there is an intriguing place that doesn’t sell coffee and you still want me to try, I would love to mention it and do the same. One of my close friends loves tea, but dislikes coffee, which makes me think to myself, “how could I incorporate more than just coffee on my website?” I am excited to travel, try new things, and share my experiences with you. If you have recommendations, please leave a comment and I will reply as soon as I see it, or you can email me at newenglandgoodsblog@gmail.com
Agawam’s Java Stop is not only in my hometown, but it is also for everyone, from coffee lovers to tea lovers to everyone that has a sweet tooth. This place brings light to my day when I go, and I don’t know if it’s because of the entire wall of flavors to add to your coffee, all the fantastic items on the menu, or the kind people behind the counter. I can tell you this though. It’s a positive space for everyone. You get your money’s worth when you receive your coffee, and you never leave without a smile. Let’s begin with walking into this small yet cozy coffee shop. To start, I want to mention all their coffee is fair-trade and organic!
On the wall to the left is a menu of delicious drinks created by the baristas and the customers. The awesome people behind the counter will point you to all the flavors they have to offer and are popular. Agawam’s java stop provides an easy to read menu in store and on their facebook, along with updates for all their followers. To close this up, I want to talk about my favorite drink that isn’t coffee, it’s the Peppy Peach Green Tea Lemonade. Yes! They have something for everyone including tasty treats and pastries. I know what you tea lovers may be thinking, yes, they have chai and yes, they have frozen flavored iced tea! The menu is enormous. You would never understand until you check it out! This place may be small, but their list surely is not which is why this place never disappoints. I am so excited to have this business in my town. It’s definitely worth the travel if you aren’t close by because they are more than just a coffee shop, they are a community.

Found this little gem a couple of years ago and fell in love. The only thing missing from your blog is how supportive Java is of the community. Agawam is indeed lucky to have them.

I love the peppy peach tea! I also love to support local! I own The Hood Cafe but always give Java Stop my business when I am in Agawam or closed for the season.
Please come visit us at Red Riding Hood’s Basket AKA The Hood Cafe in Southwick once we open for the season in March.
