To start, I want to thank everyone who is reading this post, and I am extremely grateful you are taking the time to read my blog. Today, I visited Silk City Coffee located in Manchester, CT. On the way to this coffee shop, which I have never visited, I was reminded of my love for New England. I never wish to move away to anywhere farther or warmer than home. We have so much to experience and see in beautiful New England. I would love to travel to the tropical places and discover what makes this world so amazing; however, I will never call anywhere else home as I do New England. I chose to blog about coffee and food because cafés and coffee shops all have their own environment and special thing about them. They all may sell coffee and other similar things, but they all have their own style, unique atmosphere, and products that make them different from all of the others. Not all coffee tastes the same, which makes small businesses so exciting to try. I chose to start with Silk City Coffee because it was new to me. I was doing some researching online for coffee shops, and stumbled across this place. Let me tell you, it was amazing! Right when you walk in, you get a friendly hello. It was a busy day for them, and there seemed to be plenty of seating, but all of the seats were occupied, which was fine for me as I was taking it to go. As I was looking at the crowd in this coffee shop, it made me feel welcome, like I chose the right place. I was asked what I would like to order, and the menu was simple and easy to read for all coffee lovers. They had dairy free options, so I chose oat milk for the first time and it was very good. I got an iced coffee with oat milk and mocha. The options were 12 oz or 16 oz, and the 16 oz was a perfect size. The experience I had was awesome! Service was fast, and it was very clean and quite busy for a Wednesday evening. If you ever have the time, or find yourself near Manchester, this is a place you have to stop and try!
